Cirrus Logic (NAS: CRUS) reported earnings on July 30. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at $0.22. The six earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ forecast $0.21 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.10 for Q1 were 23% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.13 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 54.0%, 230 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 10.6%, 490 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 7.0%, 290 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.

Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $132.1 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.40.

Next year's average estimate for revenue is $546.9 million. The average EPS estimate is $1.68.
