EPS came in at $1.42. The 16 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $1.42 per share. GAAP EPS of $1.42 for Q2 were 2.9% higher than the prior-year quarter's $1.38 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 43.0%, 40 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 22.6%, 60 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 15.3%, 40 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $2.98 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.49.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $11.73 billion. The average EPS estimate is $5.79.
