The Map of Panem is finally revealed in The Hunger Games Adventures on Facebook

Last Spring, Hunger Games fans were treated to a film in theaters, along with a new Facebook game that would allow them to interact with the world and its many locales. The Hunger Games Adventures is currently played by over a million gamers, and Funtactix and Lionsgate are proud to finally announce the the launch of the Map of Panem within the game. Players have been clamoring for the release of a map for some time now, so this release makes sense not only in the scope of the game's growth, but also as it coincides with the upcoming release of the Hunger Games on DVD on August 18.

The official map will allow fans to view new districts to explore, aside from the Capitol, District 12, District 11, and District 2, which have already been explored. The map will also be involved in a new in-game storyline that will see you gaining fame after leaving District 12 to discover some of biggest secrets in all of Panem.

Even if you've yet to dive into the world of Hunger Games Adventures on Facebook, this release marks an important moment in the Hunger Games "franchise," as the in-game map is the first and only official map of Panem that's ever been released.
