The Sims Social Symbol of Innovation Quests: Everything you need to know

If you weren't able to earn a car the first time an opportunity presented itself in the Sims Social, you now have a much easier chance to earn one via a cross-promotional Toyota Prius Hybrid quest series called "Symbol of Innovation." You'll have two weeks to complete these four quests, but if you're lucky, you could finish them in a matter of minutes. Here's a full rundown of what to expect!

Symbol of Innovation 1

  • Research High-Tech Cars

  • Visit 2 Sims and ask about the Prius


The first task is completed on a computer, while you'll simply need to visit two friends to finish the second task. You'll receive 20 Lifetime Points, 30 Simoleons and 20 XP for completing this quest.

Symbol of Innovation 2

  • Call Car Dealers 2 Times

  • Research Hybrid Benefits 2 Times


Simply use a phone and a computer (at your house or a friends') to finish these two tasks. You'll earn 20 Lifetime Points, 30 Simoleons and 20 XP for finishing this quest.

Symbol of Innovation 3

  • Ask 3 Sims about the Prius Hybrid

  • Email your Friends 2 Times


You can ask the same two friends that you talked to above about the cars, so technically, you only need to have three friends in total to finish all of these quests. For completing this one, you'll earn 20 more Lifetime Points, 30 Simoleons and 20 XP.

Symbol of Innovation 4

  • Follow Wires 3 Times


This task simply requires you to click on electronics and then click on "Follow Wires." This can be done at your friends' house, to save you energy on your own account. For completing this final quest, you'll receive the Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid, which can be placed next to the sidewalk outside your Sim's pad.

Again, you'll only have the next two weeks to finish these quests, but depending on your energy (or how many friends you've visited before starting), you can complete them all and have your brand new car in no time! Good luck!
