Motley Fool CTO Jeremy Phillips and tech analyst Eric Bleeker debate the merits of Facebook and Yelp. Jeremy considers it a no-brainer in Facebook's favor, as Facebook owns its platform while Yelp is dependent on Google for its traffic. Eric agrees, although he thinks Facebook is still not a great play because of the difficulties associated with depending on advertising revenue.
If there is one thing we learned from the Facebook IPO, it's this: Don't buy the hype. Eric warned investors to Forget Facebook and told them about the Tech IPO They Should Be Buying instead. If you missed his call the first time, it's not too late: This company has room to soar.
