Pioneer Trail Country Diner: Everything you need to know

Updated

If you're into completing collections or just growing new crops in Pioneer Trail, then the new Country Diner feature is definitely right up your alley, as this new event introduces not one, not two, but four new collections for you to complete, along with two new crops that are available to send and receive to / from friends on the game's free gifts page. You'll need to be at least level 20 to access this new feature, which, as you might have guessed, also comes with some goals to complete as well.

Breakfast Bar

  • Place Country Diner

  • Serve 3 Patrons at the Country Diner

  • Tend 65 Adult Chickens

The Country Diner can be upgraded with a simple bar, a dining room and eventually a patio. You'll need to invite your friends to be guests at the diner to actually use it, and then ask for their help later on to upgrade it. In the case of this first goal, you'll need to ask three friends to come and "fill the seats" at your breakfast bar. You'll receive 250 XP, a Pawpaw Tree and a Gingham Cloth building ingredient for finishing this first goal. To be clear, this Gingham Cloth is required for further Diner upgrades.

Diner Refiner

  • Harvest 30 Pawpaw Trees

  • Serve 8 Patrons in the Country Diner

  • Upgrade the Country Diner

Rewards: 500 XP, 5 Basil Crops, Green Lightning

Brunch to Lunch

  • Craft 5 Panini

  • Serve 20 Patrons in the Country Diner

  • Harvest 45 Basil Crops

This Basil crop is one of the two new crops we mentioned above, that is available to send to your friends on the game's free gifts page. As for the Panini sandwiches, these are crafted using Mystery Meat and Focaccia Bread. The Meat is simple enough, as you'll ask your friends to send it to you, but the Focaccia Bread is a more unique item that you'll have to work for; specifically, you'll earn the item at random when harvesting wheat on your Homestead. For completing this goal, you'll receive 750 XP, the Dinner Chime building ingredient and a Quick Draw Quaff item.

Patio Party

  • Craft 8 Pawpaw Splits

  • Serve 35 Patrons in the Country Diner

  • Finish the Country Diner

The Pawpaw Splits are dessert dishes that can be crafted using Cream Pawpaws that drop from Pawpaw Trees and Frozen Yogurt which can be earned from friends. You'll receive 1,000 XP, a Dinner energy item and a Fire Pit decoration for finishing this particular goal.

Patio Party 2

  • Serve 60 Patrons in the Country Diner

  • Collect all 3 Country Band Critters

  • Harvest 60 Spinach

Spinach is another crop on the game's free gifts page, while the three Country Band Critters can be earned at random when you feed patrons inside your Country Diner. You'll have gone through plenty of building upgrade stages to get to this point, and you'll be rewarded quite handsomely with 10,000 XP and a Crazy Cake for finishing this final goal.

Again, upgrading your Diner comes down to a simple but time consuming process of collecting building ingredients from friends or crafting them within your own buildings. Once you've finished this off, you can start concentrating on the four new collections we mentioned earlier: the Diner Breakfast, Diner Chef, Diner Dinner and Diner Lunch collections. You'll earn Crazy Cakes, Fast Hands and other boosts for completing these collections (which of course can be done more than once), so it's something to look into if you get the chance.

We wish you the best of luck in completing this Diner, and we'll make sure to let you know if any additional Diner themed goodies launch in the game in the future. Stay tuned!
