The Dow Is Uneasy as Earnings Kick Off

Another round of earnings is unofficially under way as Alcoa once again filled the leadoff spot and hacked away. However, this time around the broad markets are unsure of what to expect. Overall, the first quarter of 2012 was successful, as the vast majority of companies outperformed analyst expectations, but this quarter could leave an unpleasant odor behind because of slowing economic growth being experienced worldwide.
