This is how you play SimCity Social on Facebook [Video]

The launch of one of the most anticipated Facebook games of the year is nigh--just ask EA and Maxis producer Pete Lake. Since we spoke with the fine chap last week, he's gone and released a brand new gameplay video of SimCity Social. In the three-minute clip, Lake describes in detail what players can do in SimCity Social and drops some hints on how to best play the game.

Even if you think you "get" what SimCity Social is all about, based on our interview with Mr. Lake and the producer video before that, it's worth it to watch this gem for the never-before-seen footage. We'd be lying if we said that we didn't think this was one gorgeous-looking city-builder. What's this? A feeling of growing excitement for a city-builder? SimCity Social is due out on Facebook in "a few weeks' time."
