House of the Day: Kenny Rogers' Estate on Auction Block

Kenny Rogers' house is up for auction. "The Gambler" is taking a gamble with a no-reserve, no-minimum absolute auction on his 150-acre lake house estate in Athens, Ga. The property, which was designed by Rogers himself, was previously listed for $3.5 million.

And it's quite the place. There's a private eight-acre lake, which also features an island with a pavilion. The pavilion has a fire pit, a kitchen, a boat dock and a zip line. Don't worry, all of Rogers' outdoor toys are included in the winning price. The property comes with a pontoon boat, Sea-Doo and other recreational vehicles.

The "magical" estate, as the listing agent describes it, is designed with the equestrian in mind. It features a small barn, multiple horse pastures and a vast array of riding trails through the property's ample forests.

The 5,681-square-foot main house is "Polynesian-inspired" and has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. It features a large, open floor plan with a master suite and three guest suites that overlook the lake, and the whole home comes fully decorated and furnished.

Some other on-site amenities include an exercise studio, a pool, and a guesthouse.
