'Take Your Dog To Work' Day: When Dogs Are Co-Workers
Today is Take Your Dog To Work Day. Begun in the U.S. in 1999, the annual event is intended to celebrate the man-canine bond, and encourage the adoption of stray dogs. But some employers, including some offices at AOL, go even further and invite dogs into the office every day in the belief that allowing employees to work alongside their pet will make them happier, and better workers.
