Elin Nordegren's Florida Manse: Plans Reveal New Details

New plans about former model Elin Nordegren's future Palm Beach, Fla., pad have been revealed. Nordegren, Tiger Woods' ex-wife, purchased a $12 million mansion in Florida in March of 2011 after

her $100 million divorce settlement from the superstar golfer, but promptly had it demolished. The home, built in the 1920s, wasn't up to modern hurricane codes and was infested with termites. So naturally it made more financial sense to just destroy the home on that choice beach lot rather than fix it up. (Read more about the demolition on AOL Real Estate.)

Since work on her new home began, new plans about her mansion-to-be have been revealed. The ultra modern home will include a wine room, a gym and a theater. The master suite will be 1,200 square feet, and will overlook the Atlantic ocean.

The backyard was designed for relaxation: It reportedly will include a koi pond, waterfalls, a spa and an Olympic-size swimming pool. The Daily Mail points out that there is no mention of any golfing facilities in the plans.
