Nightclub City finds new life on iOS with help from Mobage

Updated

While many gamers have probably moved on from playing Nightclub City regularly on Facebook (the game still supports around 700,000 monthly active players), there's no doubt that the game was pretty fun for a time, with real world music discovery and plenty of game updates. If you're ready to dive back into the virtual club scene yet again, you can now do so on your iPhone or iPad with the release of a true mobile version of Nightclub City (not to be confused with Nightclub City Rivals).

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear as though there's any way to import your Facebook nightclubs into this Mobage social network supported version of the game (as of this writing), so you'll need to be ready to start over. The gameplay remains the same from the Facebook version however, with timed music sets and parties being available to throw. You'll need to purchase drinks for your bar and purchase dance floor tiles and seating arrangements for your guests to keep them happy and can activate the same bonuses by tapping on thought icons above patrons' heads.

The premium currency system looks to still be offline in this early release of the game, but once active, you'll be able to purchase NC Cred to spend on special decorations and other items. If that's not your cup of tea, you can jump right back into the club scene for free on either your iPhone or iPad by downloading the game on iTunes.
