Pioneer Trail Twins Babysitting: Everything you need to know

Now that Hank and Fanny have welcomed twins into their lives (and your Homestead) in Pioneer Trail, life has become pretty hectic for them (and understandably so). Being that the kids are such a handful to take care of, they need you to help babysit them while they catch their breath. This comes via a series of eight main goals to complete, with one unlocking at a time. Zynga has warned users via the game's official forums that this feature has a "hard" difficulty, so let's get ready for a challenge!

Morning Stroll? More Like a Sprint!

  • Collect 15 Fast Fries

  • Collect 8 Morning Muffins

  • Remove 5 Stumps on your Homestead


The Fast Fries come from potatoes. When you finish this first goal, you'll receive 100 XP, three Honeydew and one Twin Hugs.

A Picnic in the Shade

  • Harvest 15 Horseradish

  • Collect 20 Vitamin Milk

  • Collect 15 Picnic Sheets


The Vitamin Milk is earned from tending Adult Cows on your own Homestead. The rewards for this goal are an easy 200 XP, a Nectarine Tree and two Twin Hugs.

Lullaby for Frank

  • Craft 5 Naptime Snacks

  • Collect 20 Carved Honeydew (earned when harvesting honeydew)

  • Collect 15 Calming Blossoms (earned when tending Wildflowers)


Rewards: 400 XP, Mystery Animal Crate, 4 Twin Hugs

Time to Bounce

  • Craft 4 Tandem Wooden Horses

  • Collect 40 Coiling Vines (harvest Pumpkins)

  • Collect 15 Soft Spurs


The Tandem Wooden Horses are created using Bolted Mounts (a crafting project in and of itself) and Baby Saddles that are earned by asked your friends to send them to you. When you finish this goal, you'll receive 500 XP, a Lunch and five Twin Hugs. If you've completed all four goals up to this point, you'll also receive a special one-time reward of two Raging Buffalo drinks.


The Greatest Story Ever Told

  • Collect 40 Authentic Droppings (tend adult pigs)

  • Collect 50 Lucky Clovers (tend clover)

  • Collect 30 Pretend Swords


Rewards: 600 XP, Mystery Animal Crate, 6 Twin Hugs

Wipe Out!

  • Harvest 40 Pink Roses

  • Collect 30 Harness Clasps (tend adult oxen)

  • Craft 8 Wet Cloths


Wet Cloths are crafted using cool water and soft cloths, both of which are earned by asking your friends to send them to you. For finishing this goal, you'll receive 700 XP, 700 coins and eight Twin Hugs.

Sweet-Smelling Lily

  • Collect 35 Mashed Nectarines (tend Nectarine Trees)

  • Harvest 60 White Roses

  • Collect 35 Smellbetter Soap


Rewards: 900 XP, Stately Estate Crate, 10 Twin Hugs

Lullaby for Lily

  • Collect 60 Oily Polish (harvest flax)

  • Collect 25 Horsehair String

  • Craft 8 Full Moon Cello


The Horsehair Strings are unique items in that they can be earned by tending "non-rideable" horses on both your Homestead and your neighbors' so make sure to ask them to pull them out of storage so that everyone can tend them! You'll receive 1,000 XP, a Dinner and 12 Twin Hugs for completing this final goal. By this point, if you've finished goals 5-8, you'll also receive three "Fanny's Crates" items.

In addition to these eight daily goals, you'll also have one final mission to complete, that revolves around completing some of these goals multiple times.

Pinch Hitter Babysitters

  • Have 120 Twin Hugs

  • Complete the 4th Goal Three Times

  • Complete the 8th Goal Three Times


While each of the daily goals weren't terribly difficult on their own, this final goal is definitely a time consuming task. Obviously, you'll want to complete the repeated goals each three times and then fill out the rest of your Twin Hugs requirement by repeatedly completing whichever goal is easiest for you. If you can complete this final goal, you'll receive 2,000 coins, 2,000 XP and a Babysitter Bird Bath. Good luck!
