Dividend Stocks Reporting Earnings Next Week

Updated

Earnings season can cause a lot of movement in the markets, as stocks can swing in either direction in response to the reports. If a stock beats expectations, it will usually see a large price jump. If it falls short, its price could plummet.

With that in mind, we created a list of stocks that meet the following criteria:

  • Earnings to be announced between May 21 and May 25

  • Dividend yield between 1% and 7%

  • Payout ratio positive, but less than 50% (a responsible dividend payout)

Business section: investing ideas
We chose to search for dividend stocks because the price swings could provide great opportunities to lock in a better dividend yield. Do you think these companies will offer up such opportunities?
