EPS came in at $0.32. The 11 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.34 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.31 for Q1 were 3.1% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.32 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 52.4%, 10 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 19.6%, 70 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 13.8%, 20 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
