Pioneer Trail Country Fair: Everything you need to know

With the weather heating up, fair and carnival season is right around the corner, with this applying not only to the real world, but Pioneer Trail as well! A new feature called the Country Fair has launched on the outskirts of your Homestead, and you'll need to help complete the fair's construction by finishing off some new themed goals. You'll gain access to two new (free) crops and a new animal through this feature, so let's get started on our guide to finishing it off!

It Is Only Fair

  • Harvest 40 Potatoes

  • Harvest 35 Peach Trees

  • Go to the Country Fair


The Country Fair is located on the far right side of the gameplay area, where most limited edition features are placed. You'll be able to click on this area to see the multi-step building process ahead of you, requiring you to collect items from friends, among other tasks. You won't need to actually complete any construction to finish this goal though, and you'll receive 200 XP, 200 coins and a Country Fair Flyer for doing so. This flyer is used to complete the first phase of construction of the Country Fair proper.

Under the Weather

  • Sell 32 Adult Sheep

  • Clobber 6 Groundhogs

  • Complete Phase 1 of the Country Fair


This Sheep requirement asks you to just sell regular, white sheep, rather than any other colors of varieties. When you complete this goal, you'll receive 400 XP, 400 coins and a Patched Tent (used in Phase 2 of the Fair's construction).

Going Hog Wild

  • Tend 40 Adult Spotted Pigs

  • Harvest 25 Cotton Candy

  • Complete Phase 2 of the Country Fair


Cotton Candy is available on the game's free gifts page. Adult Spotted Pigs become available to purchase in the market after you've mastered the first level of standard Pigs on your Homestead. Remember, these Pigs needs to be full adults before tending them will actually count for this goal, so make sure to purchase as many as you can as soon as you can in order to not get stuck here. For completing this third goal, you'll receive 800 XP, a Floppy Fair Hare (a new animal) and a Repaired Gate (using in Phase 3 of the Country Fair building project).

Final Goal

  • Harvest 30 Corn Dogs

  • Tend 12 Floppy Fair Hares

  • Complete Phase 3 of the Country Fair


Like the Cotton Candy above, the Corn Dogs are a new crop that's available to send and receive to/from friends on the game's free gifts page. Unfortunately, most of your time with this goal will be spent waiting for your single Floppy Fair Hare to become hungry, as you'll need to tend 12 in total in order to finish off this final goal. When you do so, you'll be rewarded with 1,000 XP, 1,000 coins and a Dunk Tank. This is an animated decoration for your Homestead that can currently only be earned through this goal.

If you've yet to receive the Country Fair feature in your own game, be patient just a little while longer, as it may still be rolling out to some Homesteads as of this writing. Good luck finishing these goals!
