Disney Animal Kingdom Explorers Friends of the Forest: Our guide to finding every item

At the end of April, Playdom and Disney launched the limited edition Chimpanzee scene series in Disney Animal Kingdom Explorers. These scenes are unlocked by completing equally limited edition quests, and rely heavily on the use of bandages, which can be earned by asking your friends to send them to you. As you make your way through these quests, you'll first unlock the Behind the Scenes location, while the second scene is called "Friends of the Forest." This one is a traditional scene for the game, asking you to spot animals, instead of household objects.

Note: The items you'll receive will just be a selection of all of those pictured below. If you're looking to find a particular item: Hit Ctrl +F (or Command + F if on a Mac) and type in the name of the object you're looking for. This will take you directly to its image.

Set 1:

  • Red River Hog

  • Red-billed Hornbill

  • African Elephant

  • Colobus Monkey

  • Sleder-snouted Crocodile

  • Crested Porcupine

Set 2:

  • Dragonfly

  • Cape Buffalo

  • Chimpanzee

  • Adult Bongo

  • Mountain Gorilla

  • Red-Flanked Duiker

Set 3:

  • Pangolin

  • African Pygmy Goose

  • African Wild Dog

  • Rofous Fishing Owl

  • Olive Baboon

  • Gecko

Set 4:

  • Hadada Ibis

  • Aardvark

  • African Civet

  • African Grey Parrot

  • African Rock Python

  • White-tailed Mongoose

Set 5:

  • African Crowned Eagle

  • Striped Ground Squirrel

  • Baby Bongo

  • Debrazza's Monkey

Set 6:

  • Senegal Bushbaby

  • Okapi

  • Black-eyed Bulbul

  • Weaver Bird

  • Assassin Bug


There look to still be just a few animals that haven't been labeled above in this scene, as the game generates each necessary set of animals randomly. Still, this guide will get you through the scene's first three leaves of mastery, and we'll make sure to update this space when we've found the final few!
