CastleVille Little Bundle of Fire Quests: Everything you need to know

This week marks an excitement moment in CastleVille's progression, as the briefly teased pet dragons have launched in our Kingdoms! There are pink, blue, green and orange dragons up for grabs (with a catch), but you'll need to complete an 11-part quest series called "Little Bundle of Fire" before you can truly give a baby pet dragon a home.

Glowing Ember

  • Place Dragon Egg from Inventory

  • Chop 3 Trees

  • Have 1 Silver Ore


Rewards: 1,000 coins and 20 XP

Dousing the Flames

  • Have 3 Steel Pipes

  • Craft 1 Cotton Cloth

  • Place 2 Motes


The Steel Plates are earned via a general news post on your wall. The Motes, regardless of the wording, must be purchased from the store. Unfortunately, you can't simply pull two Motes out of storage for this to count (we tried it). For completing this quest, you'll receive 1,000 coins, 20 XP and a Super Chop boost.

Wonderful Things

  • Tax 6 Houses

  • Have 2 Bags of Nails

  • Sell 10 Items


You can sell any ten items, so feel free to sell excess flowers or crops that your inventory happens to be full of. You'll receive 1,000 coins and 20 XP for completing this quest.

Domesticating Dragons

  • Craft 1 Dog Collar

  • Collect 6 Chicken Meat

  • Buy 5 Decorations


The Dog Collar is crafted in your Studio, while the Chicken Meat is earned by tending adult Chickens. You'll earn 1,750 coins and 35 XP for completing this one.

Trial By Fire

  • Have 1 Regal Kennel

  • Place the Torching Post

  • Have 14 Sand


The Torching Post can be found in your inventory, and it requires quite a few building materials to complete: six Phoenix Feathers (as you friends), six Wood Clubs, one Fastener and five Wool Thread. Luckily though, you won't need to actually complete its construction until later. When you finish this quest, you'll receive 1,750 coins, 35 XP and a Super Clobber boost.

Play Date

  • Use 2 Gloom Wolf Potions

  • Finish the Torching Post

  • Collect 5 Animal Bones


Rewards: 1,500 coins and 30 XP

The Golden Child

  • Have 3 Bottles of Ink

  • Tax Yvette's House

  • Tend 10 Flowers


Rewards: 1,500 coins and 30 XP

Walking on Eggshells

  • Hatch the Dragon Egg

  • Harvest 6 Cabbage


To actually hatch your Dragon Egg, you'll need to collect more materials with the help of friends: six Sulfur (ask your friends), one Iron Axe, three Brick Ovens and five Candles. You'll earn 1,750 coins, 35 XP and a Small Energy Potion when you finish this quest.

Dragon Day Care

  • Collect 1 Flint

  • Play with Dragon five times

  • Craft 1 Fireproof Chew Toy


Similar to the puppies that have previously released in our Kingdom, these Dragons love to go after treasure, so you'll need to click on the dragon to play with it. The Flint can be found by mining rocks in your Kingdom and the Fireproof Chew Toy can then be crafted in your Studio. When you complete just this quest, you'll receive 1,500 coins and 30 XP.

Gold Digger

  • Click on the Regal Kennel

  • Give your Dragon the Fireproof Chew Toy

  • Go on a Treasure Hunt


Rewards: 1,000 coins and 20 XP

Worth Its Weight in Gold

  • Give your Dragon another Fireproof Chew Toy

  • Go Treasure Hunting Again

  • Fish in 3 Neighbors' Kingdoms


Rewards: 1,500 coins, 30 XP and one Love Potion

Unfortunately, the only Dragon available as of this writing is the green Dragon we will all receive through these quests. We've been told that the other colors of Dragons will be "coming out soon," but there are no specific details as to their launch dates, prices or availability. We'll make sure to stay on top of things though, and we'll let you know just as soon as you can adopt a pink, blue or orange Dragon of your own!
