EPS came in at $0.54. The 10 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $0.60 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.54 for Q1 were 6.9% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.58 per share. (The prior-year quarter included $0.07 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.)

For the quarter, gross margin was 11.3%, 190 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 7.7%, 210 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 3.2%, 40 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $3.23 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.33.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $14.26 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.80.
