Vanguard Natural Resources Misses Where It Counts

EPS came in at $0.41. The six earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.49 per share. GAAP EPS were -$0.04 for Q1, versus -$1.01 per share for the prior-year quarter.

For the quarter, gross margin was 69.3%, 420 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 5.5%, 6,440 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -2.4%, 3,980 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $82 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.51.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $333.9 million. The average EPS estimate is $2.26.
