No app install required. Rovio has pushed a brand new feature to Angry Birds on Facebook called Share & Play. This update finally allows players to share their highest scores, showing off for all of their friends to see. But that's only the half of it: When players share their high scores, they also make that same level playable right from their Timeline. It's the future, Marty!

Through the power of HTML, any friend that visits your Timeline or Wall after you've shared a high score can play that same level with the click of a button. What's better is that said friends can even play the level in full screen mode. Players can also embed the level in which they earned the high score to their personal blog, website or even forum post.

Angry Birds on Facebook is already one of the more popular games currently on the network, and leave it to Rovio to do something completely different. In an age when virality is arguably dead in Facebook games, the Angry Birds makers may very well have found a way to bring that aspect of social games back from the grave. If not, well, then at least its a darn cool feature.
