EPS came in at $0.65. The nine earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.50 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.03 were the same as the prior-year quarter.

For the quarter, gross margin was 43.3%, 240 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 21.8%, 160 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 17%, 310 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $14.97 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.48.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $58.15 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.99.
The stock has a four-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 1,683 members rating the stock outperform and 34 members rating it underperform.
