CityVille Glass Factory Business Wing: Everything you need to know

Updated

Last week, CityVille mayors everywhere were given the opportunity to start crafting decorations made of glass in their new Downtown Glass Factory. Similar to the Airport's terminal setup, this Glass Factory will expand with extra wings, allowing you to build different categories of items made of glass. The first wing allowed you to build glass decorations, but now you can expand your glassy empire to build premium glass businesses as well.

Once again, this feature is available to users that have reached at least Level 20 in the game. Also, you don't have to have completely constructed the first wing of the Glass Factory to build this second one, as you'll receive it via the accompanying goal line.

Once you place the base of your Premium Glass Business Wing, you'll need to ask your friends to send you some building materials:

  • 6 Merchandise Shelves

  • 6 Counter Tops

  • 6 Receipt Printers

  • 6 Display Cases

  • 6 Cash Registers

As usual, these items are earned through general news posts and individual requests sent to your friends. Once the building itself is complete, you'll be able to start building specific premium businesses, with ingredients also being earned by asking your friends for help, or by collecting from other downtown businesses and homes, which causes some to drop at random.

Some of your options for premium glass businesses are a Glass Dog Grooming parlor and a Glass Artisans shop. Different shops require different materials and in different quantities, so be prepared for quite a bit of work if you want at least one of each of the different items.

There are still two more wings that have yet to be released in this factory (likely glass homes and community buildings), and we'll make sure to let you know when they eventually launch!
