EPS came in at $0.40. The 27 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.40 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.40 for Q1 were 25% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.32 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 43.8%, 140 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 23.9%, 240 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 17.7%, 130 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
