EPS came in at $1.71. The 11 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ forecast $1.47 per share. GAAP EPS of $1.88 for Q4 were 74% higher than the prior-year quarter's $1.08 per share. (The prior-year quarter included $0.06 per share in earnings from discontinued operations.)

For the quarter, gross margin was 54.5%, 40 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 26.2%, 80 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 14.5%, 470 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $2.69 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.54.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $11.14 billion. The average EPS estimate is $6.51.
