Calling all Slingo addicts: Now you can play on Android too

Slingo -- it's part slots and part bingo. And, starting today, the game has made its way into the Android store. Called Slingo Daily Challenge, this new mobile game works in conjunction with the online version of the game. Players can earn coins while playing the app and then use the virtual currency to try to win cold hard cash on Slingo.com.

Slingo has been a computer gaming staple since 1995, undergoing numerous iterations and maintaining a loyal fan base the entire time. Recently, creator Slingo, Inc. made the clever move of partnering with Zynga to create Zynga Slingo on Facebook, currently with 17 million monthly players (and rising). Slingo Supreme also made its debut on iOS, which is now the #1 casino app on iTunes. Like the Energizer Bunny, this game just keeps going and going and going.

Slingo Daily Challenge is now available for $1.99 in the Android store. Watch out, though, two people have already left complaints saying that the game is a little glitchy. Not sure if this just happens to be a launch day hiccup or something more serious.
