Bingo Bash makes the leap from Facebook to iPad for free

Updated

Grab your dauber, because it's time to play bingo on the go via the release of BitRhymes' Bingo Bash HD on iPad. The game already has 1.8 million monthly active users on Facebook, according to AppData, but even if you're not one of them, you can download the game for free on iTunes and start marking off those numbers.

After downloading the game, you can either login with your Facebook account or simply play as a guest, and can then play in a variety of themed rooms, trying to call bingo on 1-4 cards at a time. Cards are "purchased" using Bingo Chips, which serve as a sort premium currency (as you can purchase more with real money), but you'll also slowly earn them back over time. In most cases, you'll be looking for a traditional bingo: either a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line, or four corners.

With real-time multiplayer, you may find yourself waiting upwards of 30 seconds to get into a room, depending on the location you've picked, but once you begin, you'll be able to track the progress of other players via the in-game winners list, and can even chat with others via a small window in the bottom corner of the screen. Like in other bingo games on Facebook and elsewhere, you'll be able to unlock power-ups or "Power Plays" that can randomly daub a number for you, for instance.

Add in some in-game collections and achievements and you have a fairly standard social bingo offering. The plus here is that you can play it anywhere you have an internet connection, in real time with other players. If you're interested in taking your game of bingo with you wherever you go, make sure to download the game from iTunes now.
