Hidden Chronicles A Basket Case Part Two: Everything you need to know

Easter weekend is officially upon us, which means it's time for Part Two in the Basket Case series to unlock in Hidden Chronicles. Part Two only contains five quests, but they might take you a bit of time to complete, depending on how many active friends you have playing the game, or how much energy you have when you first start them. Hidden Chronicles Elite Fan Club has found the information associated with these five quests, which will only be available to complete for a limited time.

A Basket Case - Part Two: 1 of 5

  • Get 5 Paintbrushes

  • Play 3 Scenes

  • Build the Mossy Fountain


The Mossy Fountain costs 1400 coins in the store, but luckily, you don't actually have to finish its construction to pass this quest. Just place its base on your Estate and you're good to go. As for the Paintbrushes, these are earned via individual requests sent to your Hidden Chronicles neighbors. For completing this first quest, you'll receive 170 coins and 45 XP.

A Basket Case - Part Two: 2 of 5

  • Have 5 Spring Hens

  • Place any two structural items

  • Hide 4 Spring Eggs or Secret Packages on Friends' Estates


The Spring Hens are earned through a general news item you place on your wall. Meanwhile, the "structures" tab is the one with the blue tarp and wooden frame in the store. Just click on that and then purchase any two items that you'd like, regardless of price (that is, they'll all count for this quest). When you complete this quest, you'll receive 180 coins.

A Basket Case - Part Two: 3 of 5

  • Get 8 Daisy Chains

  • Collect 5 Butterflies

  • Play 4 Scenes


The Daisy Chains come from individual requests sent to friends while the Butterflies are earned via a general news post. Completing this quest gives you 190 coins.

A Basket Case - Part Two: 4 of 5

  • Find 4 Spring Eggs or Secret Packages on your own Estate

  • Hide 5 Spring Eggs or Secret Packages on Friends' Estates

  • Complete the Mossy Fountain


The Mossy Fountain requires six friends to come work as staff, so send out those requests early and you can finish this task before you even start this particular quest. When you complete this quest, you'll receive the second of three exclusive scenes from this event: the Gingerbread Porch scene. You'll also earn 200 coins, 45 XP and two energy.

  • Play Gingerbread Porch Scene

  • Collect 4,000 coins

  • Earn 2 Trophies on Gingerbread Porch Scene


When you complete this final quest in Part Two of the Basket Case series, you'll receive 210 coins.

Remember, these quests will only be available to complete for a limited amount of time, making this scene especially limited as a result. Even if you don't push through to completing quest five in this series, make sure to complete the fourth to unlock this new scene for play even after this event has ended. Good luck!
