Diamond Dash by Wooga!

In a battle that went down to the wire, Diamond Dash came out on top. With a total of 34,854 votes, Diamond Dash fans rallied bringing in 21,749. Bejeweled Blitz ended with just 13,105 votes, making it the second year that the PopCap game made it to the finals and lost its steam.

Unlike last year's Finals, neither of the companies offered virtual kickbacks to inspire fans to vote, so it was an honest competition. Though, there is a teensy tiny side of us that likes a little larceny in our competitions.

Zynga once again had a poor showing in this year's event. Not sure if the fans weren't up for voting or if the power of match-3 games like the two finalists cannot be beat, even if neither of them are the top five most popular games on Facebook.
