CastleVille: Hang out with Martha for a chance at free prizes
, the Martha Stewart promotion in CastleVille continues to grow this week, as we've learned more details about the "Hanging Out in Martha's Kingdom" contest. This contest is incredibly simple, allowing every player a chance to enter without the necessity of any major artistic or technical skills.
The rules are simple: head into Martha's Kingdom within CastleVille, and then pose your avatar by clicking somewhere that you'd like it to stand. Snap a screenshot of your avatar in Martha's Kingdom (it doesn't even need to include Martha in the picture, so long as you leave enough detail to show that you are in Martha's Kingdom, and not your own) and then post it on the game's official forums. This enters you to win a signed copy of Martha Stewart's Encyclopedia of Crafts and an item from her own craft line, or a one-year subscription to one of Martha Stewart's magazines.
Unfortunately, no Crowns are up for grabs in this one just yet, but the entry requirements are so easy to complete that it's worth entering, even if you plan on selling the prize you may end up winning.
As it stands, the folks at Zynga do say they'll judge pictures based on originality and "presentation," but there's only so much you can do with virtual avatars. Good luck if you choose to enter this contest - make sure to let us know if you win!
