Hidden Chronicles A Secret Past Quests: Everything you need to know

For a few days now, Zynga had been touting the future release of a "Secret Past" feature in Hidden Chronicles. The mystery surrounding this upcoming event was heavy, but now that things have finally seen the light of day, this Secret Past event has really just been shown to be a lengthy series of quests. In them, you'll meet a young woman named Molly who wants to learn the secrets of an old Broach. There are actually three parts to this entire event, with Part 1 having nine different quests to complete. Here's a complete guide to finishing them off.

A Secret Past - Part 1: 1 of 9

  • Play 2 of your Favorite Scenes

  • Hide 2 Secret Packages

  • Place the Moonshine Still


The Moonshine Still costs 1,400 coins to purchase and it offers you 290 Estate Points once it's complete. For finishing this quest, you'll receive 190 coins and 35XP.

A Secret Past - Part 1: 2 of 9

  • Place a Decor from the Secret Past Collection

  • Play 3 Games of FastFind

  • Get 3 Thin Dimes


Thin Dimes are earned through individual requests to friends. Meanwhile, the Secret Past Collection items are a bit hard to pick out in the store, so we'll give you a hint: Purchase a single Diner Tile from the Decorations tab. It costs 20 coins and will fulfill this task instantly. When you complete this quest, you'll earn 190 coins and another 35 XP.

A Secret Past - Part 1: 3 of 9

  • Find the Bullet in the Orient Express Scene

  • Have 1,935 coins

  • Complete the Moonshine Still


The Moonshine Still requires you to add four friends to the structure to be your staff. When you complete this quest, you'll receive yet another batch of 190 coins and 35 XP, but you'll also unlock Bessie's Shack as a new scene to explore later on.

A Secret Past - Part 1: 4 of 9

  • Earn 2 Trophies in Bessie's Shack

  • Hide 4 Secret Packages

  • Get 3 Fedoras


Fedoras are earned by asking your friends to send them to you. When you complete this quest, you'll receive 220 coins and 40 XP.

A Secret Past - Part 1: 5 of 9

  • Play 3 Games of FastFind

  • Get 4 Satchels

  • Play 4 Scenes


These scenes can be different, or you can play the same scene four times in a row - the choice is yours. Regardless of the scene(s) you pick, you'll receive 220 coins and 40 XP for finishing this quest.

A Secret Past - Part 1: 6 of 9

  • Find the Wanted Poster in the Thief's Lair Scene

  • Get 5 Handcuffs

  • Get 4 Padlocks


These Handcuffs and Padlocks both come from asking your friends to send them to you.

A Secret Past - Part 1: 7 of 9

  • Earn 2 Trophies in the Daring Heist Scene

  • Find the Picnic Basket in Bessie's Shack

  • Place the Past-Time Picnic


The Past-Time Picnic costs 1,950 coins in the store and will add 335 Estate Points to your Manor when it's finished.

  • Find the German Shepherd in the Daring Heist Scene

  • Get 5 Ladybugs

  • Complete the Past-Time Picnic


A Secret Past - Part 1: 9 of 9

  • Earn 2 Trophies in the Fateful Picnic Scene

  • Get 6 Fountain Pens

  • Earn 7 Trophies in the Secret Past Scenes
