Pioneer Trail Prospecting Tales: Everything you need to know

A massive new feature has launched in Pioneer Trail this weekend, giving you a chance to play through ten new repeatable goals, along with three story goals across both your own Homestead and Prospect Falls. This feature works to further introduce you to the new characters of Prospect Falls and requires you to complete some goals more than once in order to earn all of the rewards available. This feature will be available until at least April 10, but if you can complete the entirety of the goals before that date, you'll be entered in the Prospect Falls Sweepstakes, where you'll have a chance to win up to $2,500 in US cash (among other prizes)! Here's a complete look at the goals you'll need to complete in order to finish this all off.

Repeatable Goals

Striking It Rich

  • Collect 20 Rough Sand from Prospect Falls

  • Ask for 15 Mining Certificates

  • Use Mineshafts 6 Times in Prospect Falls


Rewards: 100 XP, Golden Ticket, 3 Bronze Pigs

A Growing Boom Town

  • Collect 5 Pure Water

  • Tend 15 Bronze Pigs

  • Chop Redwood Trees 40 Times in Prospect Falls


Rewards: 200 XP, 3 Golden Tickets, 2 Copper Cows

B and B Publicity

  • Tend 20 Neighbor Sheep

  • Ask friends for B&B Reservations

  • Tend 50 Cows on your Homestead


Rewards: 300 XP, 2 Golden Tickets, 3 Cream Cows

Homestead Neglect

  • Craft 10 Cajun Peas

  • Harvest 50 Apple Trees

  • Sell 15 Adult Moose


Rewards: 400 XP, 4 Golden Tickets, 2 Cocoa Trees

The Un-Friend Zone

  • Clear 35 Wildflowers in Prospect Falls

  • Collect 3 Mining Suppliers Daily Bonuses

  • Craft 10 Spiced Pumpkin Pies


Rewards: 500 XP, 5 Golden Tickets, 5 Golden Chickens
At this point, if you've completed all of the above goals at least once, you'll receive a Crazy Cake in your inventory for reaching the halfway point.

Mae Blastin Away

  • Clobber 3 Outlaws in Prospect Falls

  • Collect 10 Silver Wool

  • Craft 5 Powder Packs in Prospect Falls


Rewards: 600 XP, 6 Golden Tickets, 3 Silver Sheep

Returning the Kindness

  • Harvest 40 Tomatoes

  • Ask friends for 20 Massage Coupons

  • Collect Stagecoach Daily Bonus


Rewards: 700 XP, 8 Golden Tickets, 1,000 coins

Cashin In

  • Harvest 30 Artichokes in Prospect Falls

  • Use a Sluice 5 Times

  • Ask friends for 20 Inventory Lists


Rewards: 800 XP, 8 Golden Tickets, 1 Cave Truffle

Love-N-Love

  • Use Sheriff Mae on 3 Outlaws

  • Ask for 20 Love Bullets

  • Collect 20 Golden Eggs


Rewards: 900 XP, 10 Golden Tickets, 5 Boysenberry Crops

Takin er Easy

  • Craft 4 Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Harvest 40 Cocoa Trees

  • Tend 30 Cream Cows


Rewards: 1,000 XP, 12 Golden Tickets, 5 Sugar Cane

For finishing this set of five goals at least once, you'll receive a Book of Experience, which will automatically boost you to the next in-game level. Along the way, you can also work on completing the three overall goals in this series, which mostly deal with completing certain goals multiple times.


One-Time-Only Goals

Whole Lotta Work Ahead

  • Use a Mineshaft 9 Times

  • Complete 2nd Goal Twice

  • Complete 3rd Goal Twice


Rewards: 300 XP, 5 Golden Tickets, 5 Copper Cows

The Rich Get Richer

  • Use a Rocky Mine 5 Times

  • Complete 5th Goal Twice

  • Complete 6th Goal Twice


Rewards: 600 XP, 10 Golden Tickets, 5 Cantaloupe

A Midas Touch

  • Use a Blast Mine 3 Times

  • Complete 8th Goal Twice

  • Complete 10th Goal Twice


Rewards: 1,000 XP, 25 Golden Tickets, 3 Cave Truffles

Again, you'll have until April 10 to complete these goals to be eligible for the in-game sweepstakes, which can will give 100 winners a Mystery Crate and 25 Horseshoes, 50 winners 5 Mystery Crates and a grand prize winner the promised $2,500 in cash!
