Special Ed Teacher Arrested For Allegedly Having Sex With 2 Boys
A Central Texas special education teacher is facing charges of aggravated sexual assault and having an improper relationship with a student. For several days in February, she allegedly had sex with a 13-year-old and his 14-year-old friend at the older boy's home and in her car.
Holly Lopez (pictured) resigned from her post at Lexington Middle School, after one of the boys contacted the police, because "he began to feel weird about the situation," reports The Associated Press. The 32-year-old allegedly provided condoms and had sex with both boys, the youngest of whom she was helping with math.
The affidavit also said that Lopez and one of the boys exchanged over 1,100 texts between Jan. 18 and Feb. 20. The former teacher's bail is set at $100,000 -- $50,000 for each charge.
