CastleVille Over the Rainbow Quests: Everything you need to know

The St. Patrick's Day event in CastleVille has expanded this week with the release of 12 Over the Rainbow quests, along with the arrival of a fun Leprechaun character in your Kingdom. We're here with a guide on what to expect from these quests, so let's get started!

Mischief Afoot

  • Clear 2 Grass

  • Tend 2 Flowers

  • Have 1 Pile of Sand


Rewards: 1,000 coins, 20 XP, Pot of Gold

To Catch a Leprechaun

  • Get 1 Honey

  • Place the Pot of Gold


The Pot of Gold is found in your inventory, under the buildings section. For finishing this quest, you'll receive 1,000 coins and 20 XP.

Calming Treat

  • Tax 2 Houses

  • Have 3 Berries


Rewards: 1,000 coins and 20 XP

Rainbow Engineer

  • Have 3 Rainbow Plans

  • Craft 2 Violet Moon Charms

  • Restore the Violet Band of the Rainbow


This feature will see you restoring Sullivan's Rainbow in a process similar to that of crafting items for the Valentine's Day feature. You'll need to restore all seven layers of the rainbow individually, starting with violet and ending with red. You'll have two weeks to finish the entire process. For finishing just this first quest, you'll receive 1,750 coins and 35 XP.


Flower Power!

  • Harvest 20 Flax

  • Tend 15 Flowers

  • Restore the Indigo Band of the Rainbow


Rewards: 1,750 coins and 35 XP

In the Rainbow's Defense

  • Craft 1 Wooden Club

  • Cook 1 Hard Boiled Egg

  • Banish Thief


Rewards: 1,000 coins and 20 XP

Seashells By the Seashore

  • Have 4 Empty Bottles

  • Go Fishing 6 Times

  • Restore the Blue Band of the Rainbow


Rewards: 1,750 coins and 35 XP

Greener Pastures

  • Consume 1 Bubbly Grog

  • Gather 8 Milk Bottles

  • Restore the Green Band of the Rainbow


Rewards: 1,750 coins and 35 XP

Farewell Preparations

  • Tax the Pot of Gold

  • Buy a New Decoration

  • Collect 7 Beeswax


Rewards: 1,000 coins and 20 XP

Mellow Yellow

  • Have 1 Studio

  • Mine 20 Rocks

  • Restore the Yellow Band of the Rainbow


Rewards: 1,750 coins and 35 XP

Orange Crush

  • Have 9 Polish

  • Craft 1 Saucy Tart

  • Restore the Orange Band of the Rainbow


Rewards: 1,750 coins and 35 XP

In the Red

  • Harvest 10 Tomatoes

  • Craft 2 Fertilizer

  • Restore the Red Band of the Rainbow


Rewards: 1,750 coins and 35 XP

Again, you'll have two weeks to finish the entire rainbow, and these quests along with it. There are also new St. Patrick's Day items available in the store, which will also only be available for a limited time, so make sure to take a look at those before they expire as well!
