FarmVille Pic of the Day: Kiss Me, I'm Ireland by Ribana

Everyone knows about the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland, but Ireland has its own monster legends too. Just do a search on Irish lough monsters and you'll find some. I point this out cause I bet a lot of people are going to mistaken Ribana's Ireland farm for Scotland when they spot the Lake Nessie down south. But that's a FarmVille farm-scaled continental model of the land of Éire, in all its verdant green glory, sporting the colors of the nation's flag: green, white, and orange. And it's just in time for St. Patrick's Day. Ribana's got the borders right, though geographical markers are few to none. She included an air field to the southwest of her Ireland, which I guess is the Irish international Cork Airport.

Continental farms are very rare and real works of artistry, especially those that represent a real country. The only one we've found to exist is ombra231's "Italia", which was a celebration of Italy's 150th reunification anniversary. A close runner-up of the concept is cocoon2905's Valentine's Day farm.
