Warren Buffett's Thoughts on the Economy

Updated

The following video is part of our "Motley Fool Conversations" series, in which senior analyst Anand Chokkavelu, CFA, discusses topics around the investing world.

Warren Buffett's thoughts on the economy are worth listening to, not only because of the investing acumen he's shown throughout the years, but also because his wide-ranging holding company, Berkshire Hathaway, is a pretty good microcosm of the American economy. Buffett is long-term bullish, but Anand explains that those thoughts shouldn't be misconstrued as short-term calls.

Berkshire Hathaway is weighted on America but has some natural international exposure. For some big names that are even more focused internationally, check out our free report: "3 Companies Set to Dominate the World."
