First, gaining more share in Microsoft products. Not only is Qualcomm now able to sell its processors for PCs once Windows 8 hits, but it's also seeing more Windows Phone volume thanks to Nokia switching to the operating system. Second, Qualcomm is pushing further into the Chinese market. That's a key opportunity since the company already sees one-third of its revenue from inside China. Third, Qualcomm took a look at why selling prices of phones aren't dropping even though growth is moving to emerging markets.
