Pioneer Trail: Get ready to strike it rich in Prospect Falls [Video]

While a few Gold Rush features here and there was one thing, Pioneer Trail is about to jump headfirst into the Gold Rush, via a new map called Prospect Falls. This newest Expedition may not be available just yet, but we do know that it will come with new activities and characters. Jasper (your in-game brother) will be there every step of the way as you work your way from rags to riches by mining for gold (along with plenty of other features).

Some of the new characters and activities include Sheriff Mae, who will allow you to capture claim jumpers, and Helena, who wants to own a bed and breakfast (and apparently form a loving relationship with Jasper too!). We'll be able to claim new critters, include orange frogs and skunks, plant new crops and build up a new town in Prospect Falls placing buildings where you'd like.

While we only have a trailer to go on as of this writing, it looks like Prospect Falls will be a nice mix of your original Homestead and the completely separate goals of the Pioneer Trail map itself. We'll make sure to let you know all of the details surrounding Prospect Falls just as soon as we know more, but for now, check out the official trailer for this new expansion to see what awaits!
