CastleVille Alliances Quests: Everything you need to know

What better way to fight off the Gloom and Beasties in CastleVille than to team up with a friend? That's the new philosophy in CastleVille, as a five-part Alliances quest series has now rolled out dealing with just that: helping friends. Essentially, a new bar has now appeared in each of your friends' kingdoms. By completing tasks there (including at Duke's), you'll earn Alliance Points. Earn enough points and you'll become allies with that friend, and will then (over time) become eligible for new costumes and more for your game. Here's a complete guide to finishing these five quests, and the rewards they provide therein.

An Ally in Me

  • Get 3 Honey

  • Visit the Duke

  • Perform 5 Actions in the Duke's Kingdom


Your rewards for completing this first quest are 500 coins and 10 XP.

Allies with Benefits

  • Visit 2 Neighbors

  • Perform 10 Actions in Neighbors' Kingdoms

  • Collect Taxes from 5 of your Buildings


Your rewards for completing this quest are another 500 coins and 10 XP. As an aside, if you visit your friends during the Carnival Party event, and collect from buildings while there, you'll have a random chance of earning bonus cooking materials (Eggs, etc.).

Halfway There

  • Earn at least half of an Alliance with someone other than Duke

  • Have 4 Longbows

  • Visit the Duke


Unfortunately, this quest requires you to wait a full day to complete it, as you'll need to visit the Duke yet again and complete actions there (which we just did in the first quest). For the Alliance task above, you'll simply need to fill the Alliance bar at least halfway with one friend that isn't the Duke. Longbows, finally, are earned by posting a general request to friends. For finishing this quest, you'll receive 750 coins, 15 XP and a Small Energy Potion.

Give and Take

  • Harvest 5 Crops in Neighbors' Kingdoms

  • Gain a Full Alliance with one Neighbor

  • Place Alliance Banner in your Kingdom


For earning a complete alliance with one friend, you'll unlock the banner. You won't have access to it before then, so don't panic. When you complete this quest, you'll receive 500 coins and 10 XP.

The Waiting Game

  • Visit 1 Ally

  • Tend 5 Flowers in Neighbors' Kingdoms

  • Feed 5 Animals in Neighbors' Kingdoms


This will likely require you to wait another full day, as you might need to wait before being able to visit your Ally for it to "count" for this quest. Either way, the other two tasks are incredibly simple, and will reward you with 500 coins and 10 final XP for completing the entire quest series.

All in all, these are some fairly simple quests, but the Alliance feature itself is a bit more complicated. Basically, if you already visit your friends daily, just know that you'll be well on your way to unlocking some exclusive items for your Kingdom that you simply can't earn in any other way.
