Waste Management (NYS: WM) filed its 10-K on Feb. 16. Here are the numbers you need to know.

Non-GAAP EPS came in at $0.63. The nine earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $0.61 per share on the same basis. GAAP EPS of $0.58 for Q4 were 1.7% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.59 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 37%, 210 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 17.1%, 130 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 7.8%, 100 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter.

Looking ahead
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $3.18 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.40.

Next year's average estimate for revenue is $13.77 billion. The average EPS estimate is $2.29.
