EPS came in at $0.29. The nine earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.26 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.29 for Q1 were 6.5% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.31 per share. GAAP EPS of $2.63 for Q1 were much higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.20 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 24.8%, 30 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 3.9%, 80 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 17.1%, much better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
