Gardner Denver Increases Sales but Misses Revenue Estimate

Non-GAAP EPS came in at $1.54. The eight earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $1.53 per share on the same basis. GAAP EPS of $1.52 for Q4 were 41% higher than the prior-year quarter's $1.08 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 33.8%, 30 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 17.6%, 290 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 12.6%, 180 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $588.3 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.37.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $2.52 billion. The average EPS estimate is $6.12.
