CastleVille Spread the Love Quests: Everything you need to know

As part of CastleVille's new Valentine's Day event, a series of 10 limited edition quests has launched in the game. These "Spread the Love" quests start off simply, but will become more time consuming along the way. Of course, we're here with a complete guide on how to finish these quests, and bring more than just a touch of love to your kingdom.

Who's Coming?

  • Collect 5 Bottles of Milk

  • Fish 3 Times in your Kingdom

  • Collect Taxes from 4 Houses


Pay special attention here: you must fish in your own kingdom for this count, and not at a friend's kingdom. The Bottles of Milk come from tending adult cows. When you finish this first quest, you'll receive 500 coins, 10 XP and 25 Pink Laces.

Spread the Love

  • Have a Valentine Shop

  • Harvest 5 Crops

  • Collect 3 Fancy Hair Combs


The Fancy Hair Combs can be earned through a general news post on your wall. The Valentine Shop, meanwhile, can be purchased from the store for 2,000 coins. From there, you'll need to use 10 Wood Logs, 5 Stones and 15 Pink Laces to complete its construction. For finishing this quest, you'll receive 750 coins and 15 XP.

At this point, you'll unlock the ability to raise the game's characters' "Valentine Spirits," by crafting items in your Valentine Shop. This is similar to crafting presents in your Gift Shoppe back during the Christmas event, so make sure you're constantly crafting something (whether it's for a quest or not) to earn as many prizes as possible in the time allotted.


From the Heart

  • Craft 2 Greeting Cards

  • Feed 10 Animals

  • Complete 10 Actions in Neighbors' Kingdoms


You are physically allowed to build more than one Valentine Shop in your Kingdom, if you'd like to finish these crafting projects faster. A single Greeting Card requires five Wood Logs, two Reputation Hearts and a Wool to craft. Wool is earned by tending adult sheep. For the record, you must feed animals in your own Kingdoms, as feeding your neighbors' animals does not count as of this writing. When you finish this quest, you'll receive 500 coins, 10 XP and two Hyper Craft.

Her Favorite Things

  • Harvest 10 Carrots

  • Craft 1 Stuffed Bunny

  • Fill Yvette's Valentine Spirit


Yvette requires 15 points of Valentine Spirit, with Greeting Cards (as an example) giving off just one point each. the Stuffed Bunny requires seven Cotton, three Wool Thread and two Bow Ties to create, with the Bow Ties being available to earn through a general news item posted on your wall. Finishing this quest gives you 500 coins and 10 XP.

Extreme Kingdom Makeover

  • Collect 10 Pails of Winter

  • Tend 15 Houses in your Neighbors' Kingdoms

  • Have 3 Rose Petals


Rose Petals can be purchased in the store for 250 coins each. Meanwhile, this house requirement can be fulfilled by tending to any sort of home in your friends' kingdoms and not just the variety pictured in your game's quest menu. When you finish this quest, you'll receive 750 coins, 15 XP and a Fertilizer.

Common Scents

  • Craft 2 Scented Candles

  • Tend 10 Flowers

  • Sell 5 Ogre Belches


A Scented Candle can be crafted inside your Valentine Shop using five Beeswax (tend flowers), five Cotton Threads (craft in the Studio) and six Perfume Bottles. The Cotton Threads and Perfume Bottles can be earned by asking your friends to send them to you. Each one takes an hour to craft.
