Look, we love Facebook games as much as (if not more than) the next blog, but these people clearly have time on their hands. A group of over 100 FrontierVille (Pioneer Trail?) players, including Sacramento's Cathy Matthews, may have broke the all-time record for the most comments on a single Facebook post. Since player Tracey Hodgson started the comment thread in Oct. 2011, it's garnered a whopping 1,001,598 comments, which, according to KXL TV, nearly doubles the previous record.

According to Matthews, about 107 people participated, which amounts to each participant posting an average of 9,358 comments since October. "I'm no spring chicken anymore and I really haven't done anything phenomenal," Matthews laughed, telling KXL TV that she helped the group accomplish the feat by posting two-letter words repeatedly.

"Once you get the rhythm, you can go pretty fast," Matthews told KXL TV, but what's next for the group? "We'll probably go back to playing our games," said Matthews. That is, of course, if the Guinness Book of World Records accepts their post as breaking the previous record. Between this and the Pokemon-loving Arnold family, we wonder if Guinness would accept our record for most crops harvested in FarmVille in a single hour.
