CityVille Late Bloomer Greenhouse: Everything you need to know

In December, CityVille received the new Greenhouse feature, giving you a way to plant multiple crops everyday in a smaller amount of space, thereby freeing up space on your land for new homes and businesses. Apparently, that one went over fairly well as another Greenhouse has been released in the game: the Late Bloomer Greenhouse, to be exact.

You'll need to be at least Level 20 to unlock this Greenhouse, but you won't need to have built any other Greenhouses in your game to access this one. It costs 50,000 coins to purchase from the store, and it will hold up to 14 farm plots inside once it's built. The base takes 10 energy to construct, and you will need to collect a variety of building materials to finish it off:

• 5 Green Tarps

• 5 Rain Barrels

• 5 Tray Inserts

• 5 Plastic Trays

• 5 Round Composters

These items come from a combination of individual requests sent to neighbors and general news posts on your wall, or they can also be purchased with City Cash. Once you've completed the building process, you can click on the building to pick a "Medium-Term Crop" to grow inside. As the Late Bloomer Greenhouse can be upgraded (collect 10 each of the above building materials), it's initial capacity is just eight plots, but it will eventually hold 14. You can only plant a single kind of crop in the Greenhouse, but this will count towards crop mastery and any goals that ask you to plant that specific one. Some of the crops you can plant are Corn, Cabernet Sauvignon Grapes, Pineapples and Cabbage, as examples.

Unfortunately, Level 2 is as far as you can take this specific Greenhouse as of this writing, but I'd imagine further upgrades will be launched in the future, if enough users adopt this feature as is. We'll make sure to let you know if and when that happens.
