CityVille Sneak Peek: Will airports bring world travel to your town?

Honestly, we don't know. What we do know however is that airports will soon be coming to CityVille. Zynga has announced such on the game's official forums, where we've been told to "Get ready to build an airport to connect it to the world coming soon!"

This leaves us in a similar situation to when cars were first teased for the game, where all we can do is speculate. Still, the Car feature has turned into a pretty in-depth one now that it's actually arrived (with the ability to build your own cars that appear on your roads), so could the airport be just as complex a feature? Could we see the ability to build planes and send them off to other countries for Goods, decorations, tourists and more?

I have to admit, the idea of sending out planes to retrieve Goods or bring back citizens that will shop at your businesses seems like the safest bet for this one. After all, we already have boats and cruise ships that do the same thing (even trains, if you still use that particular feature), so it isn't a stretch to think that planes could provide the same function. Still, we'll hold out hope that this turns out to be something far more original and entertaining than that, and we'll make sure to let you know what ultimately happens just as soon as we know more.
