4 Dividend Stocks Showing You the Money

Dividend checks continue to get fatter in Corporate America, as more companies jack up their distribution rates.

Readers of the Income Investor newsletter can certainly appreciate that kind of thinking. Let's take a closer look at some of the companies that inched their payouts higher this past week.

Let's start with Pentair (NYS: PNR) .

Some good news is trickling in for the water specialist's investors: Pentair's quarterly distributions will be $0.22 a share, a 10% improvement over its previous rate.

ACE Limited (NYS: ACE) is the place for meatier dividend checks. The Zurich-based insurance and reinsurance giant is giving its disbursements a 34% upgrade. Shareholders will now be receiving $0.47 per share every three months.

Plains All American Pipeline (NYS: PAA) continues to be a gusher. The master limited partnership specializing in the transportation, storage, and marketing of crude oil, liquefied petroleum gas, and other natural gas-related petroleum products is fueling its quarterly payout 3% higher, to $1.025 per share. The move may not seem like much, but Plains All American has come through with higher yield announcements in 29 of the past 31 quarters.

Yes, quarters.

Finally, we have Genesis Energy (NYS: GEL) improving on its healthy yield. The midstream energy master limited partnership's new quarterly dividend of $0.44 a share is 3% ahead of where it was three months ago and 10% ahead of where it was a year ago. Like Plains All American, Genesis likes to chime in with higher payouts every three months. Genesis has boosted its rate for 26 quarters in a row!
