A Roller-Coaster Week for the Dow

The first trading week of 2012 was a turbulent one for the Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDEX: ^DJI) . Whether it was the January Effect, investors decoupling from the European debt crisis, or favorable U.S. economic news, the Dow increased 1.2% for the week, ending at 12,359.92. Here's a snapshot of the week that was.
