FarmVille Christmas Sweater Goals: Everything you need to know

While most of us have plenty to do in the real world leading up to the Christmas holiday, if you choose to spare a few minutes on FarmVille in the next few days, you'll find that a new series of goals - the Christmas Sweater goals - are now available for you to complete. According to FarmVilleFreak, this goal series is nine parts long, and it rewards you with some animals wearing sweaters, a sweater tree and even some buildings and decorations. Let's get started.

On A Crisp December Day

  • Get 3 Rabbit Ear Warmers

  • Harvest 50 Vegetable Crops

  • Harvest 150 Strawberries


Strawberries take four hours to grow, while the quickest vegetable takes eight hours. The Rabbit Ear Warmers, along with all other "get" tasks in this goal series are earned by asking your friends to send them to you. Your reward? 100 XP, a Sweater Tree and 2,500 coins.

Shivering Flora

  • Get 6 Pig Tail Covers

  • Harvest Sweater Tree

  • Harvest 150 Pumpkins


Traditional Pumpkin takes eight hours to grow. For finishing this goal, you'll receive 200 XP, a Sweater Penguin and 2,500 coins.

How to Dress a Tree

  • Get 6 Duck Beanies

  • Harvest Sweater Penguin

  • Harvest 150 Peanuts


Peanuts take 16 hours to grow, so plan your planting accordingly. After finishing this goal, you'll be rewarded with 300 XP, a Ski Duck and 2,500 coins.

Avian Awareness

  • Get 6 Hoof Warmers

  • Harvest Livestock Pen

  • Harvest 150 Wheat


Wheat takes 12 hours to grow. For finishing this goal, you'll receive 500 XP, a Sweater Sheep and 2,500 coins.

Avian Jacuzzi

  • Get 6 Cow Sweaters

  • Harvest Cow Pasture

  • Harvest 150 Spinach


Spinach has a growth time of 14 hours. As with other crop tasks, you'll want to plan ahead on this one if you can. That is, if you finish the Wheat requirement in the goal above before the other two tasks, you can immediately plant the Spinach so you won't have to wait so long once you do start on this particular goal. When you finish, you'll receive 750 XP, a Sweater Cow and 2,500 coins.

Breaking Wind

  • Get 6 Horse Rugs

  • Harvest Sweater Cow Twice

  • Harvest 150 Peppermint


Peppermint takes a full day to grow. When you finally finish this goal, you'll earn 1,000 XP, a Winter Rug Horse and 5,000 coins.

Keep the Light On

  • Get 8 Heat Lamps

  • Harvest Winter Rug Horse Twice

  • Harvest 300 Pumpkins


Remember to use an animal storage building to more quickly harvest the horse twice in a row. Finish this goal and you'll receive 1,000 XP, the Snowed In House and 5,500 coins.

Warm Best Friend

  • Get 9 Warm Pet Beds

  • Harvest Sweater Penguin Twice

  • Harvest 600 Strawberries


Your reward? 1,000 XP, a Frozen Autumn Pond and 6,000 coins.

Take Care

  • Get 10 Pairs of Insulated Boots

  • Master Sweater Penguin to 1 Star

  • Harvest 400 Cranberries


Cranberries take 10 hours to grow. For finishing this final goal in the Christmas Sweater series, you'll receive 1,500 XP, a Snowboard Gnome and 6,000 coins.

As of this writing, you have over 12 days to finish this entire goal series, so even if you skip playing FarmVille at all this weekend, you'll still have plenty of time to finish everything off when you get back to normal next week. Happy holidays!
