FarmVille Winter Wonderland Chapter 3 Goals: Everything you need to know

Leading into the Christmas holiday, we're not at a loss for work in FarmVIlle, as a new chapter of goals in Winter Wonderland has launched this week (that being Chapter 3, for those keeping track). This third Chapter is another lengthy one, with Bonus Challenges being added at the end for, well, extra challenge. FamVilleFreak has discovered the details to finishing all of these goals, so use your two week time limit wisely to get through them all!

To Green or Not to Green

  • Get 4 Wreaths

  • Harvest 70 Iced Rice

  • Complete 1 Winter Paddock


The Winter Horse Paddock was launched over the weekend, and you can find our guide to building it right here (if you've already built one before starting this goal, that task will be completed automatically). The Iced Rice, meanwhile, takes 12 hours to grow. Finish this goal and you'll receive 100 XP, a Sad Christmas Tree (a Charlie Brown Christmas, without actually calling it that) and 2,500 coins.

Let There Be Light!

  • Get 6 Strings of Lights

  • Harvest 70 Gingerbread

  • Discover one Medium Snow Treasure


Again, if you've already cleared your farm of all Medium Snow Treasures, this task should be completed for you. The Gingerbread takes eight hours to grow, and once you finish these three tasks you'll be rewarded with 200 XP, a Holiday Beagle and 2,500 coins.

Snow Big Deal

  • Get 8 Stockings

  • Harvest 80 Iced Rice

  • Harvest the Holiday Beagle


My suggestion? Place the Holiday Beagle in an animal storage building as soon as you can so that you can harvest it quicker than simply letting it mature on its own. For finishing this goal, you'll receive 300 XP, a Plastic Duck Toy Soldier and 2,500 coins.

Stocking Stuffers

  • Get 8 Jack in the Boxes

  • Harvest 90 Red Iceberries

  • Complete 1 Winter Cow Pasture


You can find our guide to building and completing the Winter Cow Pasture right here. Red Iceberries take eight hours to grow. For finishing this entire goal, you'll receive 400 XP, a Reindeer Pig and 2,500 coins.

Train Train Go Away

  • Get 8 Teddy Bears

  • Harvest 100 Holly

  • Harvest Polar Train Station


This goal doesn't require you to have upgraded your Train Station to any particular level, so just wait up to 24 hours for it to be ready to harvest (depending on when you last did so) and you'll complete this task. Holly takes 16 hours to grow. Finish this goal and you'll receive 400 XP, a Jingle Bell (on a pole) and 2,500 coins.

Pretty Presents

  • Get 8 Frannie Farm Dolls

  • Master the Holiday Beagle to Level 1

  • Harvest 100 Mint Candy


Mint Candy takes a full day to grow, and if you've been regularly harvesting your Holiday Beagle, you might be lucky enough to already have that one down too. Once you finish this goal, you'll receive 400 XP, a Partridge and 2,500 coins.

Fire Drill

  • Get 8 Toy Fire Trucks

  • Make Peppermint Fudge Twice

  • Harvest 110 Gummi Bears


Gummi Bears take a full day to grow, but in that time you'll have the chance to craft Peppermint Fudge inside your Sweet Shoppe. A single batch requires two Mint Candy, three Candied Yam and two Coffee Bushels. Once you finish this goal, you'll receive 500 XP, a Caroling Penguin and 5,000 coins.

Chugging Along

  • Get 8 Model Trains

  • Harvest 120 Frozen Grapes

  • Harvest 1 Caroling Penguin


Frozen Grapes take a full day to grow. Once you finish this goal, you'll receive 500 XP, Two Turtle Doves and 5,000 coins.

The Final Countdown

  • Get 8 Nutcrackers

  • Harvest 120 Candied Yams

  • Craft Peppermint Fudge Twice


Candied Yams take just four hours to grow, so remember to come back quickly and harvest them before they wither. This will be the last "regular" goal in this series, but there are still three more challenges to go. You'll receive 500 XP, a Jack Frost Gnome and 5,000 coins for finishing this one off.

Bonus Challenge 1: Take A Holiday

  • Get 9 Roasted Chestnuts

  • Harvest 1 Polar Hare

  • Expand Winter Animal Pen


To expand your Winter Animal Pen, you'll simply need to collect more and more of the same building ingredients used to construct it in the first place. Check out our guide for more. For finishing this goal, you'll earn 500 XP, an Open Fire decoration and 5,000 coins.

Bonus Challenge 2: Winter Break

  • Get 10 Glasses of Eggnog

  • Craft Candy Cane 4 Times

  • Harvest 130 Red Iceberries


You'll need at least a three star crafting building to craft Candy Canes (the "challenging" part of this challenge goal), but if you're already there, you can craft a single Candy Cane with two Mint Candy, two Iceburg Lettuce and three Pumpkin bushels each. For finishing this goal, you'll receive 500 XP, a Christmas Goose and 5,000 coins.

Bonus Challenge 3: Milk and Cookies

  • Get 6 Glasses of Milk

  • Get 6 Winter Cookies

  • Harvest 140 Holly


Here, the Holly task might be a challenging one, depending on how far you've expanded your Winter Wonderland farm, since plot allowances are locked to different expansions. If that one doesn't slow you down, you'll be able to finish off this goal series once and for all to receive 1,000 XP, a Winter Fairies decoration and 10,000 coins as your final prizes!
